Is the Yaesu FT-8800R old?
I think the major point is that HAM radio equipment does not become obsolete in the same way other electronics do. They have a much longer service life, even if they are two or three generations old.- dockbox

Is the Yaesu FT-8800R old?
Yaesu is getting ready to come out wth the FTM -400. I havea an FTM 350AR in my rig and another in my shack. I do not plan on upgrading (it would have to be A LOT better) anytime soon. Plus the FTM 400's head is very large...- dockbox

Mounting a solar panel on a Maggiolina Grand tour
Has anyone mounted a solar panel permanently to the roof of a Autohome tent? I am considering attempting to do this with a 120 watt panel. Ideas? Pros? Cons?- dockbox
