i snapped my coolant temp sensor off flush with the block when i swapped out my instrument cluster. so far this is the best alternative i've found to drilling and tapping it out. http://www.deftracing.com/prosport_gauges/water_temperature_sender_radiator_hose_adaptor.htm maybe this will help...
