Looks great, functional and suits your needs well. I built mine for carrying a canoe and kayak. No RTT for me though.

I am going to meet with a fabricator tomorrow to have some tube fenders built. I am stealing someone else's idea from this forum and using Metalcloak's Lock Ball for each end. After that, it just needs to be painted and it will be "done" for now.

I finally found a set of tail lights with full lenses. I am converting them to LED using some trailer lights from Amazon.

Yep, I followed Brian's thread as an example. 2x3 box tubing, drilled holes up through the bottom plate on the frame and attached riv nuts to the tubing. I also used some carriage bolts down through the tubing into the frame plate for added security. I also set up a laser and mocked everything...
It crossed my mind, but the issues is the lip on the outer part of the fender. I feel it's too close to the tire. Yet to make my mind up yet, one of the fenders is a little tweaked too.

Got the new wheels and tires mounted, definitely going to have to do something with the fenders. I'll either add more metal to the original ones or buy aftermarket ones. Any suggestions on vendors?

Adapt it x3. Ordered a set a week ago for my M416. They had to custom make them and I had them within a week. Super great guys and great service.

Got the adapters in today, threw them on temporarily to make sure they fit. Will take them back off and apply loc tite. They fit well, but I will most likely add two to three inches to the current fenders to get better wheel coverage.
Does anyone know the thickness of the metal on the fenders...
Finished mounting my Trac Rac for the canoe and kayak. I ordered a set of j hook style kayak mounts. Those should be in this week, I will have to modify the mounts so that they will work with the slot on top of the Trac Rac.
I also finished mounting the HF Tongue Box and put the fenders back...
Hard decision on the CJ, but I never drove it enough. It sat all the time and the Grand Cherokee is going to serve as a better platform for towing and everyday use. Plus I made a pretty good profit on it, so that doesn't hurt.
Plan from now until March/April:
-Finish swing out
-Line the inside...
I try and go to the gorge at least once a year, but it's usually a backpacking trip. Im going to use the trailer to haul my canoe and my buddies kayak for fishing. We fish on the Elkhorn a lot during the summer and try and take a couple of camping trips too. We are going to LBL and Dale Hollow...
Did a little work today.
I started to mount the Trac Rac that I bought off of CL the other day. Not to difficult, just used some 1 1/2" angle iron. I'll be using the rack for my canoe and kayak.
I also continued to work on my swing out cook station. I wanted to add a light source for cooking...
Thanks Brian, I had seen that in another thread. Any special tricks or tips on removing it? Or just cut it out? Did you reuse yours or just go with the one in the back only?

Croix, I just bought two hinges from the big box store and welded them on. The swing out is latched with a De Sta Co clamp I had laying around. Actually I need to get a different one with a safety lock. This one concerns me as I feel it may come undone going down the road.

Thanks for the pics Brian, I think I've seen your set up before for extending the tongue. I am going to do the exact same thing.

My plans are to make a rack for the canoe/kayak that is removable and adjustable up and down. Still trying to work through it in my mind, but my first thought was to create some sleeves/pockets inside the upper portion of the tub and then the rack can slide into those.
Anyone done anything...
