I built a really nice '95 LWB a few yrs back for a client. The best thing I did was swap in a 300TDI and a 5-speed for him. I'll see if I can find some pics for ya this week.

You can squeeze all the junk from a 2000/3000 into the 1000 body if needed for tighter situations. I did one for a client's 9 ton RV build.
