No kidding about the headlight changing. I have a dual battery set up in my Taco with a sure power batter isolator. If my head light goes out it's going to be an hour long process to get a new one in there..

It looks like it should be strong enough, It looks a lot like how my winch is mounted minus the rest of the bumper. With the extra wrap around brackets you should be fine.

Thanks!! I really like them too they follow the body lines nicely and are pretty tight to the body, they actually touch the pinch weld on the bottom of the cab so when you lift it up you can still open the doors.

They are custom made for me I came up with the design and had them built. The legs and base are 2x2" .120 wall square tube and the outside tube is 2" .120 wall round. 68" long over all with 3 supporting arms welded to 4x4 .120 plate then welded to the frame. I have a ton of pictures of them...
