New Bumper - Add tire carrier or not?

One option that I think is important to consider is dual swing-outs. I ran a dual swing-out bumper on my 80 series Land Cruiser and when I decided to install a new bumper on my 2-Gen Tacoma I wanted to do the same. Bruteforce Fabrication custom built my high-clearance bumper with dual...

Dave, Champion charged me roughly $1,250.00 to do the conversion (C3) on five wheels. The workmanship is awesome. Rick's Powder Coating is going to charge me roughly $400 for the wheels and then of course I purchased the five wheels used off of ih8mud.com. I figure I have a bit over $400 into...

I have no issues with rubbing and I am not running any spacers. The MTR's are awesome, when I air them down to 16-18psi they have ridiculous grip. When aired up they drive and handle great on the road...thus far, no issues with the tires. - Mark

Opinion: best roof rack for the LC80, why?

Funny you should mention that. I am one of the original guys that purchased his towers and crossbars when he was selling them on ih8mud.com. They were very sturdy; however they were not the right product for me...so, I went with the INTI. - Mark

I lived in Hong Kong from 2007 through 2009. I ordered the AO drawers directly from AO. Since there was no distributor in HK, I was able to become one for HK (just to order my drawers). I had them shipped to HK and then when we moved back to the States, I shipped them with our household...

I run OME Heavies (front) and Extra Heavies (rear) am heavy as hell and am running 315/75/16's and I think it is the perfect balance...I have yet to have any rubbing issues...even when running hard 4's at SuperLift. I think 315's with a 2.5" lift and 4.88's is the sweet spot for 80's if you...

Opinion: best roof rack for the LC80, why?

I love my INTI rack, they are pricey and tough to get, but damn they are strong and are great for storage. You can also drop the side rails if you need to and put a RTT on top. - Mark

I disagree with this, I know several folks who are successfully running 345/75/16's on OME 2.5" lifts without body modifications and without any significant rubbing. I think a lot of folks think 37's and automatically think that you have to go super high on your lift, but it's just not the...
