These are for the stretcher/ pram retention system in the patient compartment. They are almost always rusted/ seized. They should have a plate on the bottom of the floor that they bolt through to spread the load on the floor of the ambo.

I use Hoffman pac boots for project work and play in the winter as long as I don't have lots of miles of technical hiking. They have been great for the last two seasons. Time will tell about the durability but they seem great...
