I have reached out to Kevin and Cam and asked if they would be interested in consulting for a fee. They expressed an interest in that. Unless I gave them a suitcase of cash, highly unlikely they would want to build another box.
This was all done in Canada. I know that UJOR can do the 4 x 4 conversion, but I still can't find anyone here in US to build sub frame and box. I may just say F it and go with an off the shelf box.
I just realized the thread you linked me to is his build thread and is now on their website. It looks like he had them just mount the box they built to the sub frame he had built. I wish there was just some place I could take the cutaway chassis to, and they could build the sub frame and box.
Can anyone recommend a company that can build and install a composite box?
I have reached out to four different companies and not had much luck so far.
I had planned on going with an off the shelf Wabash/Spartan type box. Now reconsidering because of what I have seen others do with composite custom boxes.
It sure bumps the price up though. I have wondered about how the flexing/twisting of the frame impacts the box.
Can anyone share what they...
Needs a little TLC, but looks like it can easily be buffed out.

Interesting find.
Don’t really understand the concept of extensive upgrade of base to accommodate the weight.
Why not just build on a heavier duty chassis?
