    92 K1500 DD/Overland Temp

I have the same 60/40 bench. My concern with putting in front seats from a 4 door vehicle is that the passenger seat would not have built in tilt and slide to access the back. Sent from my Pixel 3a XL using Tapatalk

    2000 GMT400 K2500 Work Truck

Would love to see more info on your Tiger. I just found out about the Provan Tiger Astro conversions, and man I love them! Sent from my Pixel 3a XL using Tapatalk

    2000 GMT400 K2500 Work Truck

Yeah, I just decided to do the whole control arm to save some time and effort on the uppers. Sent from my Pixel 3a XL using Tapatalk

    2000 GMT400 K2500 Work Truck

I did a dry fit and they seem to fit. These are the beefier axle sleeves from Cunningham machine rather than the clamp on style. They're more like threaded bars. Sent from my Pixel 3a XL using Tapatalk

    2000 GMT400 K2500 Work Truck

Bit of an update, I've been collecting front suspension parts to rebuild the truck. So far I've gathered tie rod ends, upper control arms (with ball joints), sway bar end links, idler arm, pitman arm, tie rod sleeves (Cunningham machine). I'm going to also grab lower A arm bushings, lower ball...

    92 K1500 DD/Overland Temp

Question, since gmt400.com is sorta dead and has old info. For your seats, can you still easily get into the rear of the extended cab? This was my worry, that I would need to seek out a seat with tilt like from a two door Tahoe or a truck with buckets. I really want the center console. Great...

    2000 GMT400 K2500 Work Truck

Yeah i'm looking into that. Any suggestions? I see aftermarket stuff for the next gen trucks but not the OBS like mine. Might have to be all custom, or shell out nearly $400 for kryptonites? Sent from my Pixel 3a XL using Tapatalk

    2000 GMT400 K2500 Work Truck

It's intriguing for sure. You don't see many trucks with that tire size, but I'd be interested to see how they look. I do prefer the WT look. Sent from my Pixel 3a XL using Tapatalk

    2000 GMT400 K2500 Work Truck

Well when I closed my Bronco thread I said I'd make a new thread for the Chevy. I did not. Life got pretty busy for a while and I had a kid as well as changed jobs a couple of times. Now things are more stable, the truck has sat a little and I'm starting to upgrade and repair parts to make it a...

Edgar: The adventures and ramblings of a high mileage 1992 Chevy K1500 RCSB

I'm interested in this for my truck (ECSB). I have an 8 lug, but if NBS wheels will fit and are wider, I can fit a bigger tire than what I can on my stock OBS 6.5" wheels. Would like to go up to a 33" without having to lift if I can. Nice truck, keep it up. Sent from my Pixel 3a XL using Tapatalk

    GMT400 - a love/hate relationship

You should be able to tell by looking at the drive shaft input into the diff. I think the 10.5 will have some sort of collar for the pinion? Been a while since I looked into it. Sent from my PH-1 using Tapatalk

    GMT400 - a love/hate relationship

Following. I have a 2000 K2500HD I picked up as a government surplus vehicle. Been looking into mods and maintenance for it. 120k miles and going strong. Only thing weird is it's an 8 lug semi-float 14 bolt. Usually they're 6 lug when they have the semi-float. Sent from my PH-1 using Tapatalk

The 87 Bronco adventure rig build - El Chucho - Closed/Sold

Sorry for the lack of updates. Life took some turns and we moved back to Sacramento to be closer to friends and family. I also foolishly bid on and won a 2000 Chevy K2500HD (GMT400) sight unseen. I do not recommend this, though in my case everything worked out. Truck is in good shape and not...

The 87 Bronco adventure rig build - El Chucho - Closed/Sold

Sorry for the delay. Been busy with vacation and house projects as the weather has finally turned nice. I put a set of treadwright tires on the Bronco, and honestly, I'm not impressed. Avoid them. So far, I've had two manufacturing issues, causing blistering and perpetual leaking from two...

The 87 Bronco adventure rig build - El Chucho - Closed/Sold

Had quite the adventure with the master cylinder. Lines were rusted to the old one, and nuts began to round. At that point I took it down to a local shop because if I broke anything, I'd have bigger problems. Well , they ended up breaking a line and having to replace it, but they got the new...

    Falken AT3W's on sale

They seem to be excellent tires based on early reviews or magazine tests. I almost went with them, but decided on some treadwrights (I know... People don't like retreads, but I did a lot of research). Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
