    Starting a New one - 15' JKU Sport - muti-purpose

I remember when my Jeep looked just like that. Stock white Sport S :) Really nice Defender by the way!

Wow sorry I didn't see this earlier. The front bumper is from Expedition One, and the "bull bar" is MBRP. They are two totally different pieces, but I thought they looked pretty good together.

I absolutely would! I have the Rotopax version and he has the Jerry can version. Both work perfectly, don't squeak or rattle, and are a lot lighter than most other options out there. The instal isn't exactly difficult, it's just time consuming. I'm happy with the Rotopax because it's a little...

Here are a few pics from my 10 day trip from SoCal to Moab. Mine is the Trektopped white JKU, and my buddy has the white JKU with the roof rack.

SoCal Expo JKU in the making

Right now, all the JK kits that ripp make are carb compliant up to 2012. But with this being a cleaner engine than the last, they shouldn't have an issue getting this one compliant as well. RIPP is already in the process. I don't have to get smogged till 2018, so I reeeeeaaaaaally hope they...

    09 JKU + supercharger vs '12+ JKU

Gotcha. So far my engine was one of the ones that needed a new head, and was just in the shop for the power steering line thing. But both issues were handled with zero argument from Chrysler. In fact, they replaced my head just because I mentioned that I got the check engine light once. I don't...

    09 JKU + supercharger vs '12+ JKU

This seems interesting to me. Can you give a little more detail please? Should we who made the jump to the 3.6 be concerned about something in the future years?

    09 JKU + supercharger vs '12+ JKU

I went from a 2011 with the 3.8 to the 2012 with the 3.6 when it came out, for a few reasons. First, it was noticeably a more powerful engine. Either way, I was going to mod it, so I decided I'd rather start with the better engine as a base platform. Since then I've supercharged my 3.6 and it's...

New stuff! So I added a little bit of horsepower to the 2012JKU. RIPP makes a really nice kit, and has been easy to deal with so far (though I haven't had any problems with it at all). A buddy and I decided to go play and make sure everything works as it should And my buddy's 2013JKU

I think I know exactly where this is!! I was just up in Big Bear not to long ago and had to go through this pinch. Luckily I was in my S10 and not my JKU, because there's no way my Jeep would have fit through it.

Hey EXPOJK, thanks for the compliment. Sorry for the late reply, but here you go: The 285/75R17s actually measured about the same as most 35" tires. They're just around 34" tall, but I don't recall the actual width. Maybe 11.5" or so? But keep in mind I'm talking about the 285/75s and not the...

Hey John, The winch actually works better than expected, and hasn't even had a hiccup. Just to test it out, I hooked up my buddy's 4Runner (or 2Runner is it's only RWD) and pulled him up an incline in the sand while he had his brakes applied and parking brakes on. It worked just fine. As far as...

Hey everyone. Not exactly a brand new Jeep, but I never got around to doing a progress thread about my JK 2012 Sport S JK unlimited. First thing I did to the JK was the OR-Fab tire carrier with the Rotopax mounts. Had to do that for the Mojave Road trip I had planned two weeks after I bought...
