Northern Teardrop Trailer X North 53 Overland - Semi-Custom Northern Teardrop Trailer Build - Alberta, Canada

Just read through all the posts. Looks great. Recently sold my Kakadu Camper and looking at picking up a Gnome Home and building something similar. Been doing lots of searching for the trailer tongue box you got building. Would love to see your rig in person one day. I’m over in Sherwood Park

I definitely used the copper tube and brass fitting to connect to the heater. I ran that to the body of the trailer and then must have picked up an adapter...I converted it to a quick connect. I run a 10lb tank on the left rear with a regulator and rubber hose —> to the quick connect. I don’t...

    JKMike's Kakadu "build" thread

Been a while since I’ve been on here. Unfortunately haven’t used the trailer as much as I’ve wanted and when we have it has been primarily summer months. Using the heater was always fantastic. Further changes I made since the last photo was just a 2x4 frame around the heater for some minor...

Heater works fantastic. We had it out at easter out in BC. It was wet, and cool, and heater took all that moisture out of the air, kept us warm at night. Doesn't have to run much to heat that upper sleeping area. I ordered it from propexcanada.com.

I really like the kitchen, I'm just trying to figure out how to best outfit it. I've just repurposed old stuff, so it doesn't quite fit as nicely as if I bought some items specifically for the trailer.

Well, time to resurrect a very old post. I've just been out enjoying the camper since back then. Haven't been on any road trips with it, just camping around Calgary area. I ordered up a Propex Heatsource HS2800 after reading some reviews. Finally came last week, so this weekend I had some time...
