    WJ/ older GC

~70 cubic feet, which is the same as the old Legacy wagon I had. More than the Fit (which is more than enough if a Labrador isn't involved). Probably not going to drive it around the world, but they seem to have a good mix of road manners with plenty of dirt road ability, and with the right...

    WJ/ older GC

I'm stuck in Chicago. It snows (and thunderstorms) in Chicago, so my motorcycle isn't as a good a year round commuter as it was in Oregon. Full time 4wd for the snow, and softer than a TJ to get to someplace interesting. Pickups are taxed bad here (truck plates, even on a Ranger), and I can't...

2016 Outback: The Traveler - Long Distance Expo Build

23 mpg from a rated 33? Pretty big hit for something to put a lot of miles on. Then again, how many people have taken their jeeps from 18 to 12 mpg and still not had a place to sleep.

    Interior Dimensions

I will go through all the sources then. I want to do it in some sort of visual form, if it ever looks decent I'll post it. AWD Astros are pretty common, AWD Expresses are not (and I remember the E-series actually being nicer last time I drove both). I need to look at the trade off of size vs AWD.

    Interior Dimensions

Is there a resource for interior dimensions of the different types of vans? I've started to pull it from different sites but it would be ideal if someone had already done it and measured in the same way. Astro, Vanagon, full size? Looks like the Astro is actually shorter in the cargo area...
