Yes - a circular polarizer is about the only one you really "need". I also use ND grads - but that and just about everything else can be done in post these days or via HDR techniques with multiple exposures. The circular polarizer however, can't be done in post. :D

If it helps I picked up a '97 collectors edition with lockers, 117k 3 months ago for $8100. Only real issue was a rear corner ding - Quick trip to the body shop fixed that. Just got back from putting about 1000 miles on it touring Oregon - damn comfortable rig.
