I love military trailers for the price. They definitely need to go on a diet though, so consider it a starting point not a ready to run AT. Changing out the axle, hubs, wheels and tires is a huge weight difference alone (which I would consider a must do to have same lug pattern) but then...

I vote have them hug the tire and float with the axle like a motorcycle fender....
