There are some reports of the aluminum frame welds cracking on ATC. Military aluminum trailers are Huck bolted together/not welded for a reason.

Went through the same search. Ended up with a CellTech 7x16. All galvenized steel.

Yeah, the good days of building up .mil trailers was a decade ago. If doing a new build today, I would start from the ground up.

Nice build. I miss my 116A3. So much flat area to set things on.

Should be able to make uprights with 2" square tubing and a rasor disk or jig saw. Uni-strut for rest. Could probably bolt strut to inside bed for uprights if you dont want to use existing stake pockets.

A quick wire brush, wipe with ospho, rattle can.
