I tow a 16' Scamp camper that weighs in around 2300lbs with a 2014 Outback with the 6spd manual. Last year you could get a manual in an Outback. I think it makes a huge difference in performance compared to the CVT or a traditional automatic. I do have trailer brakes as well, wired the 7 pin...

These campers are made completely out of aluminum. The frame, inner structures, floor are all aluminum. No rust and very...
We tow a pop up with our 14 Outback (2.5, 6spd manual) with no issues. No trailer brakes either. Weighs in at about 1300 lbs. We have a 16' Scamp on order that we will be towing with the Outback as well. I will be installing a brake controller though as it has electric brakes.
I am selling my Soma Double Cross built with Shimano 105 10spd 58cm. I have ordered a new Salsa Colossal 2 through my LBS and this will not see much use once that bike arrives.
History: I purchased the frame and fork in approx 2009 and did nothing with them for some time. Two years ago I...
Wow. No kidding. Impressive. Hope he does drop by. Nice to see that kind of product out there. My good friend owns a local bike shop and all the choices from his distributors are unwhelming.
Nice find. I would agree with your comments. They look well made and U.S. made is a plus. Based on their site they seem to be open to making alterations and standing behind their product. Cool stuff.
Not affiliated, do not know owner, etc etc. Saw these as I was scanning for something else and though maybe someone here would be interested. I have seen these listed for a couple months now and the seller has dropped the price.

I am selling my ScanGuage 2. I have owned it about a year and a half. No longer have a need for it. It was installed in my 2003 Subaru Outback but I now have a newer Outback that provides mileage read out and do not have a need for all the information one can get from this.
-Like new...
Drove one when I was replacing my 03 Outback. As all mentioned above, horrible visibility. Cost was insane for what you were getting in my book. I ended up with a 14' Outback. Once I drove the Outback there was no comparison. And if you actually plan to take it off road.............forget it.
Found this on my local craigslist here in Charleston. No affiliation at all. There seems to be a good number of these in our area and they do not sell too quick. Thought I would post in case there are any members looking for one.

I would disagree with the statement regarding the H6. The H6 from the 2001-2004 Outback is one of the most bulletproof engines offered by Subaru. This heritage carried over to the 2005-2009 models as well. These engines do not suffer from the head gasket issues and are equipped withe a timing...
