Thank you. We've only been at it a year. lolol. Really though, we are working on it for half a day a week, so we're getting a lot done with the limited time we've had to work on it. I also took a few months off working on it, to build a shop.

Well, I guess I haven't updated this in over 2 years.. wow. So, the V8 survived. I am not sure what caused it, but the motor had great compression and we just repaired it. Distributor, carb and some wiring. I haven't driven it much since then though. Not big trips, nothing great. Gone...

I am not really sure, steel prices went through the roof half way through, so our original guess of $1500ish is way shot now. I'd say, by the time we are done, $2500 or so.

Front steps, fenders, a harbor freight box, and this is about where we are at today. I need to finish the fenders, build the tailgate, build the lid, and then it's off to get painted. It will be painted to match my buddies olive FJ40 in the first post.
