Antmax26's M762 Offroad Trailer Build for motorcycle

Finished making the other side jerrycan holder. One note is that with the different jerrycans out there the bracket I made was made for each can individually. If I did it again I would make it with a lockable latch so I could adjust to any can.

Jerry can bracket Here are the pictures of my almost finished mount. The Jerry can mounts nice and tight but I will need to modify the top mount if I want to use a Scepter can.

Jerry can mount I added the same square tube in the front of the trailer that I had on the rear. I wanted to make some sort of bracket and holder to carry my Jerry can tool box, gas Jerry can, or scepter water cans. I took all of my plans to a local welder and this is what I came up with.

Hitch receiver I decided to add a hitch receiver on the rear just like I did on my M416. Was actually very easy with the angle iron providing a sturdy base. I am not looking to use it for much more than a spare tire carrier.

Antmax26's M416 build to go with my Toyota FJ

I decided to get a Curt Spare Tire mount to go into the hitch. It will free up some much needed space in the trailer or on the truck. I did notice that I will need to compensate for the added weight on the back.

Antmax26's M762 Offroad Trailer Build for motorcycle

I decided to try out some 3M anti slip tape on the floor of the trailer. I used the large step size and a roll. The smaller pieces were easy to trim into place and the large pieces have a small reflective strip.

Antmax26's M762 Offroad Trailer Build for motorcycle

I had a chance to load my bike for the first time and everything worked as intended. It is a little tight on the ramp side storage cans.

Antmax26's M762 Offroad Trailer Build for motorcycle

I have been thinking of ways to secure the motorcycle loading ramp. I tried to design a slide for the ramp under the trailer but decided against due to clearance issues. I also searched for a large ammo/mortar can that could hold the ramp. I eventually found two ammo cans that would hold the...

Antmax26's M762 Offroad Trailer Build for motorcycle

The second shake down went much better and I remembered the spare. No complaints, and the forestry service roads were rough and gave it a good work out.

Antmax26's M762 Offroad Trailer Build for motorcycle

Well the first shake down run from South Georgia to Atlanta did not go so well. About 60 miles into the trip I get a call from my girlfriend that the tire is bouncing and looks smaller. I had just noticed as little vibration so I pulled over. Sure enough, a nice flat. Not even a valve stem to...

Yes it was your design I found on Google one night. Thank you for the idea. Just curious how much have you put weight wise on yours. It seems very sturdy.

Antmax26's M416 build to go with my Toyota FJ

I have been thinking about a way to mount a spare tire. I thought about hanging it under the trailer or mounting it on the toungue of the trailer. I still want to mount a grill and possibly a sink one day in the future. I thought about combining all of them. I wanted to make something...
