I have an 07 Tacoma w/ Alcan springs, Bilstein 7100 Short body rear shocks, and Firestone air bags in the rear.
I just did the Diablo Dropoff a couple weekends ago, and realized that with this setup, the springs are no longer the limiting factor during articulation. Instead, the air bags are. Obviously, this is not good and will eventually tear my bags.
My only option appears to be limiting straps. I tried searching on expeditionportal and TTORA for pics of stock'ish (non-LT) Tacomas with limiting straps but could not find any.
Although limiting straps are not rocket science, I would rather not re-invent the wheel if someone has found a good mounting location requiring minimal modifications. Anyone care to share? Thanks!
