100 Series wheel question

AS an 80 Series owner I am not to familiar with the 100 series. My question is, will the 16" wheel from a 2000 fit on a 2003? I guess it all comes down to the clearance on the back side is what I am getting at.

Thanks for the assistance and I am asking the question for my uncle who owns the 100.

Just so I can be clear with my uncle.....there is no clearance issues with the brakes on the small 16" wheel?

Yes, no clearance issues. You can swap any of the OEM wheels on the LC or LX470 from 1998-2007. 16,17 and 18".
