'11 T4R TE...about to pull the trigger.

Incredibly, I have a choice of three essentially identical trucks this weekend...all TE, CPO, 20-25k miles, off-lease '11s. Same color even, in and out (how many TE choices were there?). I'm expecting to grab one of them and have been doing a ton of pricing research in the last 24hrs, but would love to hear other opinions on fair vs steal pricing.

31k-36k is the average pricing for a TE that year/mileage. Ive been researching them for about 4 months waiting to save enough money to buy one...

How much are they asking for it?

The main choices are basically Nav and/or KDSS. Other than that they all pretty much come the same. Colors avail are silver, black, red, magnetic grey.

Play the dealers off each other. Let them know that you know there are 3 to pick from and you're going to buy the best priced one today.

Sounds like this is a bit more than you originally planned to spend, but these are great trucks. I think you'll be satisfied for years to come.

So, I went with a check. My expectations for a CPO vehicle were apparently different than the dealer's. Then they were pretty much arrogant pricks about it. Plus, I just didn't love it...way more 'trucky' and less refined than the Montero. I walked. And, I put a (refundable) deposit on a CPO Outback today (to claim first refusal on one just-traded, not yet cleaned up & CPO'd). Such a nicer vehicle to drive, if a bit smaller and less capable offroad. Cheaper and *way* better appointed too.

Guess I'm off to the 'other' section now...thanks for the help.

(Oh, the TEs are all in NC...one @ Modern in Winston-Salem, one @ Hendrick's place in Apex, one (overpriced) in Wilmington. Apex is where I walked.)
