12 Volt Ropelights?

Hello, anyone ever try 12 volt LED ropelights for around the campsite? Seems like the low watt requirement, decent light output and low insect interest would make it a good idea? What are some thoughts? Thanks! Jason

I've used them before they have very little amp draw. I've used them in the past (at Burningman) they are a great alternative to bright camp lights....

Used them on my pontoon boats canopy for a couple years. At first as a joke found out that rope light do not attract bugs and produce a nice level of light. Since then I now using them on the pop-up awning.
