One question I had about the efficiency topic was wouldn't a cooler with more cold or frozen stuff tend to draw less amps because it is/has a colder interior already, thereby causing the compressor to run less.

In the video the fridge that drew the least amount of amps also contained the most cold/frozen items.

Just curious.

i was going to say the same thing however there not testing over and extended period of time only on the energy when the compressor is running (i.e. turn the compressor on check the energy then go on to the next repeat)

I've seen this episode before, my opinion is that the guy isn't well prepared and isn't well informed on the products. Doesn't really tell us much I sorry to say.

I'm brand new to all this.

I didn't even KNOW there were other fridges out there besides the Engel. :xxrotflma
