It has become time to sell my beloved rig,“Keanu”. Keanu is a 2017 Ford F-250 4x4 Crew Cab King Ranch Ultimate with a 6.75’ bed. The bed was removed and an aluminum XP Camper tray (one of the last ones before they closed) was installed along with a 2019 Four Wheel Camper Hawk Flatbed.

The truck is currently sitting at 106k miles and is located 1.5 hrs north of San Francisco. I’ve got over $150k into it and am asking $110k.

Let's start out with the truck:

I’m the second owner and it has a clean title and Carfax. I picked the truck up from the original owner in Oklahoma back in March 2019 when it had 12k miles on it. The original owner had it special ordered (window sticker can be viewed in the Google drive link below). It's a loaded King Ranch Ultimate (heated, cooled and massaging seats, heated steering wheel, adaptive cruise control Apple/Android CarPlay, power running boards, LED headlights, front and rear cameras). It has the immensely powerful 6.7l diesel which gives this rig an average fuel economy of around 13 mpg. The truck has been meticulously taken care of and maintained with Amsoil synthetic oil changes every 10k miles and new OEM fuel filters every 20k miles. I purchased an Extended Service Plan from Ford which kept the truck in tip top shape and recently replaced the transmission with a factory remanufactured one that has a 3 year warranty. I also have a Google spreadsheet that outlines all maintenance performed and makes it easy to track and keep up on. All fluids were replaced just before 100k miles. A CP4 disaster prevention kit was also installed along with a new serpentine belt.

On to the fun upgrades on the truck!
  • New Carli/King 2.5” pintop shocks custom valved to the truck/camper with leveling springs
  • Deaver progressive rear springs with additional leafs added for the camper
  • Carli rear air bags with remote adjustability in cab
  • New Carli radius arms
  • Carli track bar which was recently rebuilt by them
  • Carli lower steering stabilizer with differential guard
  • PMF drag link with upgraded heim joint tie rod at Pitman arm
  • 5 x Method 17”x9” NV HD’s with custom sanded outer lip
  • 5 x 35”x12.5” Nitto Ridge Grapplers with 25k miles on them and plenty of life left
  • Trail Ready front winch bumper with Smittybilt X20 12k winch with synthetic line, Factor 55 Flatlink Expert and fairlead aling with Baja Designs spot and fog lights wired to the upfitter switches in cab
  • XP Camper aluminum flatbed tray with boxes all around and interior lighting which can be turned in from inside the truck or one of the boxes. Rear table slide out with additional storage. Also have original bed, tailgate, tail lights, and tow hitch.
  • ARB Dual Air compressor mounted in DS front box and wired with 8 awg marine grade wiring to upfitter switch in cab
  • Custom steel rear bumper (Fabbed at Chuckles Garage) to perfectly match the flatbed with D-Ring shackle mounts
  • Weather Tech floor mats all around
  • Mag Hytec rear differential cover for added oil capacity
  • *Kenwood dual-band radio and antenna will not be included
The Camper!
  • 2019 Four Wheel Camper Hawk Flatbed loaded with almost every option including smooth aluminum exterior and Silver Spur interior
  • King bed slide out
  • Largest 130 liter fridge
  • Flat top range and sink
  • 2 x ceiling fans
  • Exterior shower
  • 20 gallons of fresh water (more room underneath dinette cushions for Jerry cans of water as we sometimes took up to four on longer trips)
  • 6 gallons of hot water
  • Propane furnace with reset switch relocated inside with the rest of the electrical fuses/breakers
  • 2 x 2.5 gallon propane tanks with easily accessible selectable valve (for those times in the middle of the night that you run out of propane and it's cold outside!)
  • LED exterior lighting with switches in camper which has been also wired with relays to be turned on inside of the truck with the upfitter switches
  • Upgraded 6 awg marine grade wiring from truck battery to camper for super quick camper battery charging thanks to the two heavy duty alternators
  • Victron 100/30 MPPT solar controller
  • Victron 12/12-30 DC/DC charger
  • One Battleborn 100Ah battery (has been more than sufficient for our needs)
  • One 160 watt Overland Solar panel on roof
  • Fiamma awning
  • Custom entry steps from deconstructed step ladder with deep treads that lays flat and stores on top of bed when driving
  • OEV bracket to securely hold steps to flatbed
  • Custom rear rack for two 5 gallon Jerry cans, Maxtrax and chainsaw mount
Please see Google Drive link for FWC build sheet.

This rig has taken us to many amazing places all over the country. It's really bittersweet letting it go... However this rig is made to be out adventuring for weeks at a time. I take it out on weekend trips and maybe one longer two week trip per year. I've come to the realization that I built this rig for the lifestyle that I want to live, not the lifestyle that I live. I'm hoping that you can take it out on many epic trips and really enjoy it!

This rig is DIALED and ready to go to nearly wherever you want to go.

More pictures along with the truck and FWC build sheets can be found here:

The only trade I will consider is a 22-25 Tundra (I'm very specific on the specs of the truck) with cash on top.

Feel free to give me a call or shoot me a text with any questions: seven zero 7 seven 8 seven eight zero 3 four

Cheers, Brian

I registered this rig as an RV here in CA which cut the registration costs in about half.

The engine is completely stock besides the S&B cold air intake. The exhaust system is also stock so the truck is 50 states emission legal. The truck did however come with a DPF delete pipe and Auto Agent tuner with several different tunes for increasing HP and torque with or without the DPF if the next owner chooses to go this route, this option is available.

Very nice rig! I didn’t see any mention of the factory rear locker, or did I miss it? Also, any skid plates other than the diff protection?

Thank you! Yes it has the factory rear locker which can be engaged in 4 high or 4 low.
The FX4 package came with a factory steel fuel tank skid. Everything else is tucked up pretty high so I never saw a need to add any more protection. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I had somebody ask what the dimensions are for this rig, so I thought that I'd just share them with everyone:

105" height (top of awning)

83" wide

Approximately 21' long

For those of you cyclists or folks that like to bring toys along with you that require a rack that fits into a 2" reciever: I've got a RakAttach 1.0 swing out option that I had modified so that it attaches to one of the d-ring shackle mounts on the bumper. It's super stable! This has been a really nice option when having two bikes on the back. It allows you to swing them out of the way and enjoy the pull-out drawer for access to gear, a great cooking surface or using as a work bench.
