I picked a random spot on the right side face of the tallest peak and found about 4 climbers :Wow1:

I think there are two people on the face of Half Dome also.

Here's how it's done and there's a ton more galleries. There's a couple of ways they can do it. One is to use sophisticated stitching algorithms from wide angle fields of view or to assemble one huge photo from hundreds or thousands of individual overlapping photos with narrow fields of view. With all that detail, I'd think that the Yosemite is done with lots of individual photos wit a telephoto. Talk about patience!
