Just bought this 1946 Montgomery Ward trailer and plan on restoring it to original condition .Does any one have an untouched version ?.Not sure if Montgomery Ward used Plymouth hubcaps ,The tires are Wards tires and show little wear .The stake sides may have been added later .The bottom sides may be original and if that is true ,will repair rather than replace .No markings on the trailer ,but it is registered as a 1946 Montgomery Wards and has the same suspension as the Ben Hur military trailers. The paint appears original or at least only one coat.
