1967 Ford Transit MK1 van

Very rare in the US. Built in the UK for the German fire department powered by 1.7 liter v4 engine and 4 speed transmission. 20527 kilometers. Body overall is in pretty good shape. Original paint and logos. Some rust but only one area where it went through shown in pictures. Interior is in good condition and back cargo area is ready to be converted into a mini camper. Roof rack is full length and very sturdy. Dual rear wheels with new tires front and back. Runs and drives well. Recent tune up, carburetor rebuild and new battery. Brakes work well. All lights, turn signals, horn and siren work. My original plan was to swap in the 3.5 eco boost engine but just don’t have time right now. Common camper conversion platform in Europe. Open to possible trades. Current California title and registration.

Beautiful classic van. Had a short wheelbase in the early 90's which proved reliable and easy to live with. Died eventually due to timing gears giving way: they are some composite plastic which may have gone brittle with age and I could not find a replacement.
