Hi 39Ronin.
I noticed your ebay auction unfortunately did not result in a buyer for your nice truck.
Was your truck in Ottawa last year by any chance? I recall seeing something very similar looking parked on the parkway near the Ottawa River while driving there one night, and being envious of someone driving something like that in N-A!
As discussed with you, it's too bad a vehicle like that isn't suitable for practical driving on busier N-A roads. I used to drive a 2.5n/a LR 110, and found that even when taking secondary roads (because it was challenged for acceleration and comfortable top speed - which in this case could easily get to 90-100kph), I was constantly being pushed in the back by transport trucks and other hurried drivers (going nowhere fast, I know...).
Anyway, hope a good buyer pops out of the woodwork for you at some point... Would be a great truck for all kinds of neat treks.
Personally, I'm looking for a good diesel Land-Cruiser, as a compromise.
Cheers,
--Robert
