Hi everyone. I hadn't expected to use my first post in the for sale section, but I came across this Series II while surfing Craigslist. Having read through many of the threads, I thought someone might be interested in it.

As I said, I have no affiliation with this vehicle or its owner, I just found the ad.

Not being that familiar with the specifics of Land Rovers, but having always wanted one, can anyone tell me why there is a muffler under the hood??

The interior of this model looks mint and it looks like a paint job and this beauty would be a great find!

If it looks like a muffler under the hood, then you are looking at probably a relatively unmolested 6cyl NADA 109 SW. They are pretty rare, and that muffler looking thingie is the air intake.

If it's all original and stock it would be a nice one to fix up. That engine is somewhat maligned as it is an F-head design and a bit troublesome to adjust the valves. When in proper tune it is a really nice engine.

PICS!!!!
