1975 Dodge Woodsman 4x4 Aluminum RV Motorhome Expedition Rig
Exterior
The Woodsman is all original on the exterior even featuring the factory Woodsman Decal on the front. My next exterior step during this restoration was to fully polish this exterior to make a full mirror finish like an Airstream.
Engine and Transmission
This Dodge is powered by a 318 V8 engine with only 22,600 miles on it! The power and ride is great. The automatic transmission is in excellent condition and 4x4 functions as it should. It's a very reliable easy to maintain Dodge that gets you anywhere you need. I currently start it up every weekend and drive it around the block.
Wear and Tear
This Woodsman has been gutted which took weeks of labor. The frame has been sanded and covered in POR-15 and there is new wood support beams laid through the interior as well. The new wood base flooring consists of handcut Tyvek wrap, Aluminum, and 3/4” marine grade plywood which has been coated in SealOnce Marine Wood Sealer. This Woodsman does run and drive but it takes a little gas in the carb to start but once started it will idle great and starts back up every time. I would not recommend driving it home since the driver seat has not been reinstalled (towing would be recommended).
Title and Registration
This Woodsman has a clean California title in my name. It is a very unique RV unlike any others on the market.

This Dodge Woodsman is only 1 of 8 in existence and is truly a diamond in the rough. From the factory these were made on a 1975 3/4 Ton Dodge Pickup Truck Chassis featuring 4x4! The body is all aluminum and 20ft end to end. The look of this Dodge Woodsman is very pleasing and I get compliments daily on it.
