I wanted a small street legal bike that I could carry on the back of my truck, to run into town from camp and cruise fire roads with. I have never had a motorcycle, and don't really know much about them, but have always wanted one, unfortunately I just don't have the funds for another hobby, and want to buy a house so the toys have to go.
I spent the money to get the license plates and registration which has now expired, but it is not much to make it current. There are no lights on it, but that is not a big deal, you can find lights on ebay pretty cheap.. I think the photos make the paint look a little nicer it it truly is. If you pull the choke and give it a "half" kick to prime it, it will fire up on the first full kick. Sometimes it will idle sometimes it will not. When I got it the idle was high, I opened up the throttle, and the cable seemed to be routed wrong according to pics I found online. I re routed the cable, and now the idle seems low, and it usually stalls unless you give it some gas. I pulled the carb off of it, and the reeds look brand new, and I was not able to find an air leak, so it may just need a good tune up, but I don't have the experience to tune it properly. It will also need new hand grips. That is about all I know about the bike. I do not know how to ride and do not have any safety gear or helmet so I have not even tried to ride it. If you have any questions I will try to answer them the best I can, and I will take more photos if there is something you want to see.
From what I understand the hardest thing on these bikes is to get the license plate, and I have that.
