Not mine, the title is a little suspect.

There are many things wrong with that description: if it's an 86 it's not a Defender it's a one ten, one ten's had the 2.5 diesel, not the Tdi engines (he claims direct injection), ... but whatever, it's crazy that this thing seems like a good deal here anyway, with all those brand-new-Range-Rover priced Defenders out there...

The Defender vs 110 thing is just semantics, right? Kinda like calling a 98 Toyota pickup a Tacoma, except not even that inaccurate.

2.5NA- non turbo version-engine usually fitted to the military versions
but does not have the side lockers...could be ex RAF or similar

Direct injection....yep from pump to motor

defender came in 2 versions, 90 and 110, name, makes no odds

theres another LR behind in one of the pics

The name Defender was not used until 1990 if I remember well, before it was just ninety and one-ten, then Defender 90 and 110 (and 127)
It's been pretty much the same thing since 1948, whatever you call it, anyway :)
