Considering parting with my 1986 FJ60, which kills me but as I have some major life expenses coming up I’m willing to let it go. This is a truck that I’ve wanted for years, bought it from my neighbor over two years ago and have gone through it completely mechanically. It is not perfect cosmetically but it’s a truck that presents well and that you won’t feel bad about using it for what it was built for. It is still sporting its original paint, and has been an AZ truck for most of it’s life. It did do some time in CO & WY, but it is incredibly rust free with a few small spots on the front doors.
July of 2025 I removed the 2F and installed a 5.3 Vortec engine out of an 03 Tahoe that had 159k miles on it. Since the swap I’ve put over 15k trouble free miles on the truck and driven it all over AZ, NM & CO. It has never left me stranded and has always started and been reliable. I did the entire build myself and spared no expense on it, using as many OEM parts as possible and trying to make it as easy of a vehicle to service going forward. It has been my daily driver since I completed the swap in December of 2025 and has genuinely been the best car I own.

There are probably some more items missing that I can’t remember, but I’ve got all the receipts. I will continue to keep improving the truck as I am not in a huge rush to sell. It does need a few things to be perfect, largely on the interior side as there’s a few cracked plastic pieces. This is a great truck enjoy as it is, or you can invest some money into the cosmetics of it and make it even better.
I will be taking much better pictures when I get to the point where I’d like to advertise it more, at this point I am only posting it on here.
Looking to get $55k, located in Tucson, AZ. I will consider a partial trade towards an older FWC Granby slide in camper as well.

- New oil pan & gasket, rear main seal, valve cover gaskets, spark plugs & wires & belts
- BP Automotive wiring harness installed
- Custom single output exhaust, installed with catalytic converter and new Denso O2 sensors
- All engine sensors replaced with OEM Denso
- New fan clutch installed
- H55F 5 Speed Manual transmission using Mark’s Adapter to mate to the LS
- Transfer case rebuilt with Sumo 10% overdrive gears bringing 2H/4H axle ratio to 3.70, 4L gets 4.11 axle ratio
- 4.11 differentials
- Old Man Emu Heavy ++ lift kit with Man-A-Fre extended shackles in the rear
- 4Plus u-bolt flip kit in the front
- Redhead Steering Gears rebuilt 80 series steering box
- Man-A-Fre Heavy duty tie rod kit installed
- Brake rotors, calipers, lug studs all replaced when knuckles were rebuilt
- All soft brake lines replaced with Toyota OEM
- Brake Booster & master cylinder replaced with 80 series components
- CruiserMatt’s Off-Road Wilwood Clutch Master Cylinder
- Slave cylinder replaced with new OEM
- Man-A-Fre 38 gallon fuel tank
- New fuel lines made with Earl’s Vapor Guard, new fuel filter out of a 2003 Tahoe
- FSR Aluminum radiator
- Complete Alpine Sound system
- Air Down Gear Up sleeping platform
- SOR sliding windows (passenger side has not been installed yet)
- Ceramic window tint
- FrontRunner load bars
- Eezi-Awn Lite Awning
- Driver’s seat foam fixed and reupholstered
- ARB front bumper, Kaymar rear swingout bumper
