Testing the waters. Basically needed more seats....bigger dog
1989 F150 Custom 4x4 4.9 ZF5
Started building this truck in 2019. Dont know much of the history on the truck. Never carfax'd it. Anyways its pretty clean for what it is. Origional paint. It does have trail bruising which will be shown below. Ive done everything you could do to these trucks that makes it worth what im "asking". I will list below.
Engine (Normal maintenance stuff. Pretty much the only thing I havent really touched. Its a Ford 300. You cant break em.)
This truck has seen alot of adventure. From snow wheeling to two completed trips through the Rubicon to trips to yellostone and death valley. It will get you anywhere you want to get a fullsized rig through. Its never been denied in the snow. Does 65mph at 2200RPM and crawls when you want. This truck is amazing and took alot of work to build. Dont get me wrong I have used and abused this truck but always spent my weeknights and weekends maintaining it. Its a work of art but we no longer use it. Im sad to even think about letting it go but its time to move on. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Ive touched almost every bolt on this truck to get it to where it is. I have receipts for just about everything. Im currently trying to snuff out a vacumm leak for the climate control. Currently stuck on defrost. Thank you for your time.

- Luk Larger Flywheel
- Luk Clutch/Pressure Plate
- Luk Slave Cylinder and Throw Out Bearing
- BW1356 Custom T-Case
- Fully rebuilt hybrid I did myself. Front half of case is original to truck and the rear is from a 94 Bronco. I had the rear stub machined to accept the speedo drive from a local machinist.
- Flange style rear output to accept Double Cardan
- Fixed known oil pump drive issue by welding a rod to the end of it so it would not wear through the case anymore.
- Custom rear driveshaft. 1350 Double Cardan to splined slip joint. 1330 U-Joint to differential.
- Custom front driveshaft. 1330 U-Joints on both ends.
- Both shafts balanced and fabricated by a professional. When I purchased them he said I could "lay the whole truck" on them. The 1330 U-Joints were designed to be the weak point of the drivetrain.

- 4.56 Ring and Pinion(done by WFO)
