There is one of these up in Southern BC Canada that was modified with Unimog 416 axles - the guy wanted to build his own Steyr Puch Noriker (which are an extremely rare version of the LT45 with portal axles that only saw very limited production).

Hmmm...
A 416 axle is double the weight of a dana 60! A LT45 has 80hp out of a very tiny engine, together with ultra short unimog diffs this will lead in very hard times for the tranny! :Wow1:

The MAN 8.150 is a totally different story! it's just double the weigh!
