Hi Cruiserheads- Here's my 81 which I imported from Japan in 2008. Ive always had it in a garage since then. I have only insured it for summers for the last 7 years and last year it only got driven 1500 miles... Been to Moab several times, the Kokopelli, Death Valley, Calico, all over Western Canada and Western USA. I gt stuck in the Black Rock Desert too! Just not using it enough. 4" TJM XGS Gold lift, Full engine out rebuild 50K miles back runs great. Cruisin' Off Road sliders and Xfer Case skid plate, New LSPV, Injectors and pump redone 2022 by Jon Fox ACSD Delete. Wholesale Valve body, Longfields, Marks low range gear, LandTank plates and double cardan front shaft, Part time kit, Now has 286K Km. Oil samples taken and clean. Oil changed with Delo 400 each fall along with yearly brake fluid flush. Big brakes, winch, Labs rear Bumper and ECB front winch bumper. front sway bar is disconnect able. Great help along the way with quality parts from Onur (@OGBeno) , Slee, etc. Front and rear axles taken down to bare and rebuilt 2022 with new longfield HD gun drilled Birfs and shafts, Marlin HD inner seals, new spindles and Koyo bearings. 35" KO2's with good tread. I have a new JDM Sunroof deflector in a box with it. Im thinking $30K USD obo? Is that fair? I have a mountain of receipts likely over $40k for parts and service. It's set up to tow with brake controller and trailer charging circuit. 2 new batteries last year. A/C, Power folding mirrors and console ice maker work great!
I've met a lot of you along the Journey and am grateful for it. Most of the ownership and adventures I've enjoyed are documented over on another prominent Land Cruiser website (lol)
The truck is remarkably rust free, not cosmetically perfect as there is a bit of clear coat off the fender tops and roof. It is not a 'Hangar Queen' but looks quite respectable.
