I reached out to this dealer with basic questions like “is the title clean?” and “are there any notable dents or scrapes on the exterior?” and “how much life left in the brakes and tires?”
First response: “Just do a buyer inspection.”
When pressed: “I can answer questions about the general condition but your list would require five special technicians to answer everything.”
Wouldn’t buy a lawnmower from this guy after that exchange.
I agree that his response is difficult to take.
I would highly suggest taking the matter into your own hands and have a trusted individual do a full PPI.
sounds like a dealer that prefers the buyer to take the initiative....or maybe a jerk. a phone call would clear that up.
I dont necessarily side with his response, but selling something as unique as this, he might get dozens and dozens of requests for information. I have a few Tigers and I dont even have them actively listed and sold two just from word of mouth recently. Having sold a few rare campers....man so a LOT of emails come through.
