1997 Ford F350 XLT 7.3L expedition vehicle - Trade or for sale

A proven overland vehicle. We converted the ambulance two years ago with the help of 365 Camper in Prescott, AZ. We drove from Prescott down to Florida, and then all the way up to Alaska. We are now in Bend, OR, and slowly driving south with the plan to be back in Arizona around the end of the year.

We are thinking of trading or selling because we will soon be heading to South America, and our planned itinerary would require a smaller vehicle (especially width) and more 4x4 capabilities to tackle the passes we plan to reach. The ideal vehicle we would trade with is a more 4x4 capable vehicle, pre-DEF or gas engine, well-insulated. We are also open to selling, and the asking is $80,000.

Feel free to DM me with any trades or offers. We are happy to modify our travel plans accordingly.

Nice build! Few questions:
1. Any pics of the indoor bathroom?
2. What size is the bed?
3. Is there storage under the bed that is accessed from the rear door?

Thanks!

Hi! Sorry for the delayed reply. I was off-grid.

Bathroom: what we use as a bathroom is a Wrappon toilet, stored under the fridge, and a tent. This is one of the things we may want to upgrade, should we decide to keep the vehicle. A closed space would be nice to have, and it is easy to create as part of the pass-through. I spoke already with Jim at 365 Camper and he can easily do this. On the other hand, we love the Wrappon!

Size of the bed:74" * 58"

Cargo door. Yes (please see the photo)! What we have inside, to give you a rough idea of space is: two North Face trolleys, a normal North Face bag, two wetsuits, diving gear, bike helmets and bike shoes. That door required a lot of custom work as we had to remove the original barn doors, create a frame, build a custom rear wheel bumper, etc.

Interior height?
Hi, Randi, we have 5' 7". We are considering cutting and increasing height by a few inches or even mounting a small hard-sided rooftop where we need to stand and create a sort of popup where we need to stand for cooking, doing the dishes, etc. No need to have extra height in the bed area for us.

Darn..... I'm 6'. Most Amby conversions are not tall until you move into the larger chassis. Best of luck with the sale. Really nice unit!
