1997 Toyota Lancruiser that was converted to diesel by Diesel Toys in TX in the Summer of 2016. Vehicle has approx 259k miles on it. Only has about 9k miles since conversion. It has a Toyota 1HD-FTE motor out of a 2002 Landcruiser in Australia that was imported as a half cut with approx 60k km's on it. If you have looked at their conversions before you know they are not cheap. Their converted vehicles do not come up for sale often and they have a 1 year waiting list to convert your vehicle. Cruiser is currently registered in CA as a diesel so no smog is required. This is one of the nicest cruisers you will find...and with a diesel. Has factory front and rear lockers and 3rd row seats. Property of my dreams came up for sale and my family no longer fits the Cruiser. Price is $29,500 obo. Looking to move fast so if you have a serious offer shoot me a DM and I will get back to you. Cruiser is located in Santa Barbara CA area.

Very nice. If someone needs an unbiased third-party inspection, I'm near by and could check it out. (maybe I just need an excuse) :)

I am the current caretaker of this truck and am considering letting it go as I have some large business expenses coming up in the new year. Price is $30k and the truck is in just as good, if not better shape. Always garaged under my ownership and have fixed several items since I've had it. Would not hesitate to drive this cross-country tomorrow.

Please no tire kickers, if you're interested please send me a DM.

I am located in Western CO.

A few more details from questions:

-Truck has OME 2.5” lift w/steering stabilizer
-Current mileage is just under 262k
-Rear bumper is by Bump-It Off-road. (Have a 2 can rack also)
-Clean Carfax
-Tires have about 4K miles on them. They are Pro Comp All terrains 285/75 R16 on TRD wheels. Spare is the same size.
-Interior is VERY clean. Carpet is near new.
-Chassis is equally as clean. No rust whatsoever.
-AC works well.

Only two items that are amiss are the power antenna works intermittently (have a new oem unit) and the knob for the drivers seat adjuster (forward/back) just broke. Probably an easy fix, but haven’t looked at it closely. All gauges, etc work as they should.

There are zero leaks on this truck.

Also have new oem weatherstrip, complete front end rebuild parts and euro-4 headlight setup that goes with the truck also.

Please feel free to ask any other questions.

Merry Christmas

Andy, do you know what the vehicle tow rating is with the diesel in it? I have a trailer maxing out at ~ 3,200 lbs.

Tow capacity for HDJ80/81 looks to be 3500 kg (~7,700 lbs):

That comes with several caveats:
- Trailer brake
- Transmission cooler/temp gauge
- Receiver hitch capacity:

I personally wouldn't get close to that number, but I wouldn't be afraid of a small camper/trailer.

Just to be clear, there is no trailer brake or transmission temp gauge installed.
