My 2004 access cab v6 3.4 5speed cost $20k new. It has been amazing truck, no engine mods, mostly original parts at 322k and I've wheeled, used as a work truck (excavation / landscape in Colorado), I live on the divide so all mountain miles and stored outside. What I'm sayin is I beat the truck and it comes back for more. I didn't know these went at $25k. I am going to keep mine and see if I get 500k

Never owned one, but looking for an 05-06. They're expensive, but people are seeking them out for their simplicity, uniqueness, size, and capability.

Wow I thought I might have the only one - never seen another V6 Gen 1 since I bought mine few years ago. Paid $10k at 100k

I had to order my truck at dealer, the sales manager called and asked if I made mistake by selecting the v6, they told me at the time only 1 in 450 trucks was made v6 5sp. Gas prices were low and everyone was getting the v8. I couldn't fathom an auto transmission (still can't except an allison) and I already had a 1999 cummins 2500 so really I was looking for something smaller.

Rare bird indeed, if I could live with a regular cab I’d buy this and throw a Grandby in it

cheers

LOL $25k. That is rare combo indeed, but I bet it wouldn't even hit that on BaT.
