PRICE REDUCED FOR THE HOLIDAYS !!!
This is as close to a barn find driven by the original owner 80 years old that was exclusively serviced at a Land Rover dealership. I’m the second owner at 50K. Mileage, will increase with use and mostly highway miles. It has been maintained and kept in top form with a few improvements as it sits. Stored in a climate controlled environment during the winter months in Maine or spent the winter in a Florida garage, where it’s now. The paint is the unfaded original and the chassis is near new condition. The list of maintenance repairs or upgrades is long and over with $25,000.00 worth of parts and labor. The engine runs as new, smooth and reliable. No codes or new parts needed As it was maintained to the Land Rover standards and maintenance requirement. The engine was proactively serviced by LR dealership at around 30K. Upper engine refresh kit, that included head gasket, head bolts and coolant flush and new radiator. Since then, new; windscreen (windshield in the US) & trim moldings and gaskets replaced with new OEM, HD high flow water pump, HD Odyssey battery, HD higher amp alternator, valve cover gaskets, all coolant hoses, engine sensors, wheel sensors, spark plugs, ignition coils and wires, all fluids; transmission, transfer case, differentials, new; brake pads & service and fluid flush, new; speed sensors, rotors , Terrafirma 2+ shocks, Terrafirma HD coils and shock tower, Wheels Steelies & Tires BFG AT (5) plus OE LR aluminum wheels/ tires (5), etc. All service done as per LR strict regular maintenance intervals and updated with records that are available and documented. All parts are OEM or of higher quality than stock to improve performance and longevity. Needs nothing. The only issues are minor and cosmetic, and normally I‘m super OCD about little issues or imperfections but I’m going through recovery now from surgery. The paint has a few chips and scratches almost hard to find. The first sun roof just stopped opening recently. Other than that, only regular scheduled maintenance as normal, ie oil and filter changes. I have looked around the internet and FBMP and not found any other Disco 2 with this low mileage and unaltered condition and excellent service history. This can be used as is in its current configuration or excellent base vehicle to build for exploring and expedition. Please contact with serious questions and anything else will be ignored. Reason for selling is quite simply to down size and recent health issues.
