Did some digging because I thought I had seen this truck before. It was built by "Roving Beetle" on Dweb. Not sure if he is here. It appears a little worse for the wear than when he sold it, but that may be just age. From what I recall the AC was working when he had it, ebay listing states it does not work now.
Yes nice rig originally. There is a history to it on another site. However NO intercooler signifies potential overheating problems, which if I recall correctly happened with previous owner. This turbo can be dialled up to 35 psi (with right fuel mix)which is way to high for no intercooler. Original nav had to be rebuilt as it seems may have been melted. Clutch/plate to crank heat spells possible motor damage. So I would be very careful anyone considering this. Also asking $2k deposit which seems high to me if u not there to inspect it...anyways just saying..

I think it's just a dream of every D2 owner to have a diesel and mpg's in the 20's! I'll stick with my 4.6 for now. It is cool to see someone do a conversion properly, albeit very expensively.
yup..I agree..I liked it myself. In usa emissions issue might be a problem in some areas according to original owner, but in ontario, canada I can circumvent this. Too bad, cuz I would have seriously flown down to see this...I have been purchasing vehicles to long now to piddle with the obvious telltale trouble signs. Window shopping however still gets me into trouble from time to time..unfortunately. My latest E320...ugh..oh well, ce la vie.

Emissions are a non-issue in Alabama also.
