2001 Ford Expedition overland camper

Hey Expedition Portal, I am selling this rig for a friend and I think it would make a great weekend warrior or fairly priced camper rig with a ton of cool features.

The truck is at my house in San Diego CA 92117. Asking $13,900.

Vehicle:

The camper is built on a 2001 4x4 Ford Expedition with 101,000 miles and recent maintenance completed.

Camper:
The build out packs an immense amount of features into an incredibly small and convenient package. The build out works great as a daily driver with all the convenience of a larger build out in a standard size SUV that's easy to navigate and park in any garage or street parking space. When you want a weekend getaway vehicle with the entire family the Explorer will also step up to the challenge. Here are the amazing features:

Heater:
  • A gasoline powered Webasto AirTop 2000 heats and dehumidifies the entire cab and runs off the vehicles fuel tank.
  • It also has a digital programmable thermostat so the car could automatically heat up in the morning before a big trip in the mountains.

Lighting and electrical:
  • A secondary and brand new 100 AH battery connected to the vehicle's alternator runs all the low voltage listed below on the car.
  • A 30 amp victron energy smart WiFi charger controls the charging and capacity of the secondary battery.
  • A Dometic CFX3 36 Liter fridge freezer was a custom replacement to the existing center console. It keeps plenty of food and drinks cold for a family trip.
  • The front of the car has a Rough Country 30" LED combo light bar with spot and flood lights as well as an amber running light.
  • The rear liftgate features flood lights for when you're cooking out back, loading groceries, or organizing gear after a late night adventure.
  • 6 recessed interior LED lights in the headliner illuminate the entire inside of the vehicle.
Shower: A five gallon fresh water tank connected to a 12v water pump and shower handle routed to the rear lift gate lets you wash down surf boards and rinse off after a bike ride or muddy dog walk.

Sleeping system:
  • The factory rear passenger seat was retained to carry a third person or rear facing car seat.
  • The bed platform accommodates the seat in both the upright and folded down position.
  • Most campers come with either an inflatable or extremely thin mattress system, however, we have gone above and beyond with this camper. Fitting nearly a Queen size 7" mattress with 3" of organic latex over a more firm CertaPur mattress base you sleep as if you are at home.
  • The bed is sewn with custom zipper upholstered covers for easy washing and storing when not in use.
Known Issues:
All of the camper features work great and the truck runs super smooth and just passed smog. Some of the interior features I couldn't get to work are:

Sun Roof wont open, Heater is not blowing super hot, rear stereo speakers are out, rear door lock solenoids dont seem to be working, roof and hood have rust holes and paint issues.
