2002 Mitsubishi Montero Limited 4x4, Clean title in hand. Please read entire ad. Runs and drives great with lots of recent work done to it. Nice and comfortable ride with independent suspension front and rear with disc brakes for all four wheels. Also a nice feature is the proper hand brake. Has a spacious interior, the second row seats recline and fold/flip forward. The Limited edition version comes with a nice large sun roof that works perfectly. This Montero has the mod done which allows the installation of a cabin air filter like the Monteros in foreign markets but not here in the USA so this one now has cabin air filter fitted. The A.C. and heater all work. The tires have around 90% tread. The 4x4 system in these cars is legendary. No check engine light. New exterior window moldings that wipe the window as the window goes down into door, no more dry hard rubber. Tags are good for two more years. Nice thing about this SUV is the awesome factory headlights with fog lights, nice and bright. Nice for overlanding is the ability to carry full size spare without affecting cargo capacity. Big enough to sleep in. Has window rain guards. This is the rival to the Toyota Land Cruiser and having owned both, this rides much smoother and gets better mpg. Interior has some wear on the seats bottoms as seen in photos but no bad for a 22 year old car. Has the ability to connect via blue tooth to the cars radio which is a nice modern feature. Exterior has some scuffs as seen in the photos. 4x4 and locking center diff works great. Please read over all the work that has been done to the vehicle to make it very reliable. I would not hesitate to drive it across country off road. Currently has 129,500 miles, Located in Portland, OR, area.
