2003 DC Tacoma Trailer Wiring Help

Hey folks,

I believe my trailer wiring on my truck has a blown fuse or something else going on because when towing two different trailers that having working trailer lights, the first trailer's lights came on for a brief moment then went out. The second trailer is a simple 4 pin connection and the lights did not come on at all.

I assume that the trailer wiring has a fuse, but I have no clue to where its located. Does anyone know where the fuse should be for the trailer lights?

Thanks! :smiley_drive:

Drivers side, behind the rear seat, behind the carpet like stuff covering the rear wall.

Odd size small fuses, if I remember three of them.

My blew because of a short in the wiring harness up at a connection near the gas tank.

I'm not sure if you've got OEM wires or not, but I had to wire up some aftermarket ones myself. They were connected directly to the rear tail lights, so if yours is aftermarket, you may have to take off the tail lights to see if they're connected correctly.
