Just had it professionally detailed!
This truck is a rare find being a step-side with a SUPER rare specific camper shell. (Took me 3 years to find it!)
It gets wonderful gas mileage and can hold its own on the highway cruising at 75-80 no problem!
With the winch & tires Ive never had an issue getting out of most situations.
I had the engine checked and pressure tested by my mechanic and was told it could last at least another 100k before needing a rebuild! (No head gasket issues for you!!!) The trans is a bit sticky in between 2nd & 3rd, and a little lag occasionally when shifting to reverse, but after 3 different trans shops checking it out i was told it wont get worse and has at least another 100k on it!
This truck is absolutely bombproof with great gas mileage, if you do the 2 upgrades i had planned to (lift & tires) this thing would be a lifetime daily offroader!
Future upgrades that are easily done yourself that i had planned to do:
-$420 4in/2in WULF lift kit (spindles and rear shackles) doesn’t change any geometry and maximizes ground clearance/tire size
-$900 falken wildpeak 32in tires (after lift)
