4x4 OFF-GRID camper conversion.
116000 miles
Location: Loughborough, UK
£3,500
We purchased the car last year for a summer trip around Europe and have converted it in to an off-grid camper with all the facilities required to support adventure for an extended period of time.
The car starts first time and drives well, it is an automatic.
The conversion upgrades include: a hot water shower system, full double bed, 240v UK power outlets, roof cage, spare tire, under-bed storage, overhead LED light bar, upgraded stereo system - head unit (inc. Aux and USB) and speakers, 2 burner gas stove.
Please note that we have removed rear seats to make these upgrades but we can supply them with the vehicle!
Hot water shower
Heat exchanger in engine bay (run car from cold and in 2mins you will have hot water), 65L water tank mounted under car, 11LPM water pump, external shower head and mixer
Full double bed
190cm by 110cm, half of the bed folds away whilst driving. Custom foam mattress.
Under bed storage
Gas strut assisted under bed hatches, rear draw with heavy duty (60kg) drawer slides
Electrics
2x 225Ah 6V leisure batteries - wired in series to give 12V, 225Ah
1500W inverter
3 double power outlets (UK) - 1 in front passenger footwell and other 2 on either side of bed.
Relay charging circuit. Starter motor disconnects from leisure batteries when engine off.
All connections to the batteries are fused
Replaced last year
Rear brake pads
Oil change and filter
Transmission fluid changed
Full spark plug change
Coolant flush
Air filter
Pollen filter
New starter battery
Minor faults and cosmetic damage.
- Oxygen sensor fault causing engine warning light on dash. This fault (P0031) was diagnosed using an OBD device whilst on our trip, we suspect it is a grounding issue. We temporarily fixed the issue on our trip by removing corroded material from the grounding surfaces. A thorough wire brush would probably solve it.
- Crack in plastic roof rail support - contact us for pictures..

We are more than happy to show you the vehicle any time (based in Loughborough, UK) or answer any queries! Please contact us using the email below or PM.
