Very interested. current location? what's the estimated MPG with the new motor? Great looking rig... careful consideration went into your build.

HA!!

Just found your previous listing, knew I had seen it... I even asked the same questions then... Though now I've got my vehicles sold so I'm in a better position to purchase something.

I'm assuming still North Carolina, and MPGs between 10-13 :D It's a rover.

You are exactly right. Even better this time around. I've added 4.75 gears and arb lockers in gbr pegged diffs along with onboard air.

Man I wish you weren't across the country...

It'd cost me a $300 plane ticket, and ~$700 in gas to bring it home.

hmmm...

So you're in NC? Couldn't quite tell from the license plates, resolution on my phone didn't really show it...

Can you tell me more about the motor? What kind of mods and why were they done? Also, how many miles on the chassis?

150k on the chassis. Motor was built up due to headgasket leak around 130k miles.

Motor Mods:
- Block completely dissasembled and acid bathed
- offset ground crank and longer connecting rods for more displacement via stroke not bore.
- Heads decked 20 thousandths. Full port and polish.
- Crower cam to keep power band in the lower rpm range.

Why? Because I could. No reasoning justifies any modification really.

It really hauls the mail now! Its not your typical powerless land rover though it still feels weak compared to my Duramax!
