Can anyone make any suggestions that I should try and make the dealer replace during this last free warranty maintenance checkup? I would love for them to replace the plugs, plug wires, and O2 sensors, ABS sensors, and anything else anyone else can think of, please throw down your thoughts.

Thanks much

X2 UK4X4. Plugs & plug wires are usually done on the 60K maintenance (I think, as well as belts, hoses.. I think).. o2s can last at double your milage & beyond. Man, I wish I still had warranty..

OK thanks, the serpentine belt is on the 45k and will be changed tomorrow as will oil. The rest of the 45k is reall just visual stuff that they will probably just blow off and not look at.....oh well any suggestions of what I should have done fior a trip even if I have to pay for it?

Oil leaks, have them fixed. I had my transfer case resealed. You have to let them know what is leaking, they may not volunteer the information.

Definitely, spend a bit of time under the truck going over it with a fine tooth comb. Anything "off", have it fixed. As mentioned above, they can't fix normal service stuff under warranty.

It also helps to go with a service adviser that you have a prior relationship with. If you're buds with the service guy, you can probably get marginal stuff pushed through. I had a D90… I mean a friend had a D90 (for the purposes of not getting anyone in trouble) that was going out of warranty. The service adviser used to go wheeling with…my friend… When the 90 had about 100 miles left on the warranty, they did about $4-5k worth of service on…my friends… truck.

Have a good look at your throttle body. Mine was in several times for a small coolant leak at the throttle body.

Also,

I know a guy that got a new engine~38k because every service he complained of cold start piston slap. LR finally caved.
