2005 Chevy Kodiak 4x4 Crew Cab-$75,000

Last year in anticipation of retirement, I purchased a 2005 Kodiak 4500 4x4 to mount a Lance 1172 camper as the previous owner had. My retirement is postponed for a while and I find that I don’t need this big a rig for my future travels. I prefer to sell this truck but I’m open to trading for a comparable truck/camper setup. This was originally a Monroe conversion so it has the Denali style interior. Engine is a 6.6 Duramax LLY and Allison 1000 tranny w/63k miles. I just had all 8 injectors replaced (ouch$$$) along with an oil change and recent new batteries. Has a FASS lift pump, PPE tune, headers and straight pipe exhaust delete. Custom service body by Douglass is built specific for direct bolt mount of the 1172 but this rig makes for a great chase vehicle for an offroad racing team. Every compartment is a full pass-through up to 8ft across. Wheels are 41 inch Conti’s on DBL 20in steel rims (5), Bilstein shocks, Air ride seats w/Viair compressor and air horn, power recliner rear seat. Headlights are LED as well as a LED light bar installed in the grill.
Truck is currently in San Diego county but registered in Texas. DM me for inquires or discussions. The camper is not included in the purchase.

All compartments are pass thru
Rear not sagging, wheel well higher in front wheel/hood space
spare currently in the back. No camper currently mounted

Can you confirm gear ratio (5.13, I presume)? Where precisely are the integrated mounts for the camper located (a pic of those would help). Wondering if they would work with a camper other than a Lance 1172.

I don’t know the gearing but I would assume it’s stock OEM.

The mounts are built into the service body and there are brackets that are used on the camper to direct bolt mount the camper. I’ll try to post pics today.

Question since I’m assuming you’ve sold by now. Is there an issue registering this in CA because it’s >1 ton and a custom bed? Commercial? You have to go through scales? Curious why in CA and had Texas Reg

I can't speak for him, but it's not able to be registered in CA because of CARB laws and it's 2005 pre-emissions vehicle. So, the only option is out of state. States like AZ don't care where you live or if you have an out-of-state license, they will take your money and mail the registration to you elsewhere.
